 Tourism in Balochistan has reached at new levels, and explorers are discovering that are motivating more and more travellers to come. Among these is Moola Chotok, in Balochistan. If you’ve seen images of the region , thats great but if you have not then some of the pictures are in this blog all pics are shot by GO PRO action cam.

 




Moola is the name of the village, while Chotok means ‘falling water’ ( waterfall). The area is famous for the tall cliffs that hide a waterfall. The region lies at an elevation of around 4,000 feet above sea level.In Moola Chotok River flows all round year and there are lot of mountains or different minerals and stones of many kinds.Moola Chotok commonly refers to the largest waterfall in the area, There is also place near it known as Chota Chotok. Chota Chotok is  a kind of smaller falls with  green surroundings and river.In river there are lot of fishes,crabs,





It is located  around 100+ kilometres from the city of Khuzdar.You can easily reach Khuzdar from Karachi in about 5 hours, in any vehicle. The route to the waterfalls passes by fields of natural beauty of the region. Once you’re there, the  off-road track ahead of you so better to hire one of the local 4x4 jeep.About 6 hours of off-roading will take you to Moola Chotok . You’ll be climbing small hills and crossing rivers on your route, sometimes even moving upwards on steep terrain.If you’re planning a trip to Moola Chotok, then you should be aware of the weather. While summers are scorching in parts of Balochistan, winters can be just as cold. So, the best time to visit the fall is upto you.

CAUTION: Dont visit waterfall in moonsoon season because of floodings etc.

At Moola basic facilities are not provided, all trips to Moola Chotok Waterfalls are overnight camping trips, with camps are set up at a distance from the fall, with the geographical range of the region, there are many things to do in Moola Chotok.
